Frontline Plus

Frontline Plus contains Fipronil for a quick kill of fleas and ticks and Methoprene (Precor) to prevent the flea eggs from maturing into adult fleas. Fipronil works great on fleas and is much better killing ticks than Advantage is. 3 month supply. Specify size.

Petcor

Petcor (identical to Ovitrol Plus, a discontinued product) is another good residual spray for use on pets. It contains the Precor IGR and pyrethrins, so it will kill both the eggs and the adult fleas. It is ordinarily only available through veterinarians.

Flea & Tick Shampoo

This is an excellent flea shampoo for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. It contains triple pyrethrins and natural soothing aloe. It may be used full strength or diluted with 2 parts water. Wet animal for 2-3 minutes before using. Be sure to apply to all parts of the animal except the eyes. Let the animal stand for 3-5 minutes and then rinse. This treatment may be used as often as once a week.

Rotenone-Pyrethrins Dip

Rotenone-Pyrethrins is a very effective flea dip for dogs. Dilute this product 1 oz. to a gallon. It may be used every week.
